Rookie americano, classe 1986, Campbell può giocare in 3 ruoli: playmaker, guardia e ala piccola anche se al college (George Mason) ha giocato molto guardia/play. E' un giocatore molto pulito con punti nelle mani, duro fisicamente, che ha portato George Mason alla Final Four Ncaa due anni fa. Duttile, buon difensore, buona leadership, Jim Larranaga lo assomiglia come stile di gioco a David Vanterpool ex di Siena e Cska.
